Mita worked with stakeholders to register and activate swing voters across five battleground states in the 2024 presidential election, with a focus on Gen Z and Millennials as well as parents and tech workers.
In the 2022 midterm election, Mita's research for The America Project contributed to registering 300,000+ voters across six swing states.
In 2020 she collaborated with America First Action to register low-propensity voters in Florida, Virginia, and Texas.
Mita earned her Bachelor of Science in Statistics and her minor in Justice, Law and Society from American University.
She then went on to complete a nine month graduate-level fellowship in Behavior Analytics with an emphasis on public policy in a private D.C.-based fellowship program.
